Overview: This presentation provided an overview of available opportunities to address suicide prevention while delivering mental health services in primary care settings using the psychiatric collaborative care model (CoCM). The speakers introduced the core features of CoCM, with a focus on data for reductions in suicidal ideation seen with collaborative care. The presentation concluded with potential opportunities to utilize CoCM to prevent suicide.
