Normal Windows desktop applications—i.e. good old-fashioned Win32 apps not built on the newer, Universal Windows Platform—will soon be available in the Windows Store. Currently, all the apps in the store are either ‘UWP’ apps or old holdovers from Windows 8. That and more in today’s news.
