LAMSight

LAMSight is a community dedicated to fast-tracking LAM research. LAM stands for Lymphangioleiomyomatosis, a rare, fatal, multi-system disease affecting women in their childbearing years. The goal of the community is to facilitate interaction between researchers and LAM patients, and to provide a single common community for LAM patients. The community is built by Ian Eslick, a QS Bay Area presenter, and PhD candidate at the New Media Medicine group at MIT's Media Lab.

Islet Diabetes iPhone App

Islet is a diabetic's logbook for the iPhone. You are allowed to keep track of blood glucose levels, insulin injections, and other data. Data can be seen as reports and exported. According to their site, it was last updated in Dec. 2008 (as of 3 / 2011.)

hLog Health Tracker

hLog is a health tracker for the iphone. It lets users track customizable vital statistics (such as medications, blood pressure, blood sugar...) as well as generate overall reports. As of Dec, 2010, it has been taken off the App Store pending an update.

Health One Labs

Health One Labs is a service that lets users order their own health labwork without a physician's approval. Tests are conducted at a local patient service center. Testing include allergies, STD tests, vitamin defeciency tests, and more standard labwork.

Diamedic Diabetes Logbook

Diamedic is a logbook for diabetics on the iTouch and iPhone. Diamedic allows the user to graph data, predict refill dates, and share data via email. Data can also be accessed via FTP. As of 3/2011, the app is $5.99
