Moodlog is a web based tool for keeping a log of your mood throughout a period in your life. The service allows you to make entries via a web form, or email, SMS, twitter by sending short notes describing how you feel. Moodchart can send SMS messages at random intervals to prompt you to make an entry, and allows entries to be exported as CSV or XML.

MoodChart is a web based application and research study designed to help people with Bipolar disorder. The application starts with a questionnaire about the user's clinical history and then helps to construct a retrospective chart of mood states over the previous four years, as well as creating a daily chart. The app sends a reminder email each day to collect data for the daily chart.

Mappiness

Mappiness is a free iPhone app that's part of a research project at the London School of Economics. The app prompts you a few times a day to ask how you are feeling, who you are with, where you are, and what you are doing. The data is anonymously collected by the LSE, who are analyzing it in particular for the effect of local environment (including noise) on people's mood. Users can view their own happiness history directly in the app.

I Rate My Day

I rate my day is a web based application for recording your rating of the quality of your day using a simple 5 point scale. The site features a community with profiles and the ability to compare your stats with an aggregation of all user as well as to and add friendly comments to other people's ratings. Your mood ratings can also be displayed on your blog, in a Windows Vista gadget, and viewed as an RSS feed. The site is available in both English and French.

HeartMath Stress Reduction Tools

HeartMath provides tools for monitoring heart rate variability, along with software, books, and audio materials for using this information as part of a stress reduction program. The monitoring device is called the emWave2, and it is capable of acting as a portable recording monitor with a built in display as well as connecting to a PC for real-time display of heart rhythms.
