Mail-trends is a tool for visualizing statistics about email. It accesses a gmail account, and can display distribution of messages by year, month, day, day of week, and time of day as well as distribution of message sizes, top senders, mailing lists, and thread lengths. Mail-trends is free open source software that runs on any computer with the Python 2.5 programming language.

EtherPad

EtherPad is a web based collaborative text editor. Multiple users can simultaneously edit a text document from their web browsers, as well as using a chat window to communicate with one another. The company that originally produced EtherPad has been acquired by Google and the application shut down, but the EtherPad source code was released and the application is now available free from other providers.

BubbleTimer

Bubbletimer is a web application designed to help you track your activities in simple units of 15 minutes. The application displays an interactive chart dividing the day vertically into 15 minute units and horizontally into activities. Users can record time spent on each activity on the chart, and the application indicates how the totals compare to daily and weekly goals. The application is available for a 14 day free trial, after which an annual fee is required.

The Happiness Project Toolbox

The happiness project toolbox is a support for the book "The Happiness Project" by Gretchen Rubin and provides eight web based tools for making posts associated with personal happiness. The tools are "Resolutions", "Group Resolutions", "Personal Commandments", "Inspiration Board", "Lists", "One Sentence Journal", "Secrets of Adulthood", and "Happiness Hacks". The postings can be shared in public with friends who join the site, or kept private.

Stresswatch

Stresswatch is a heart rate variability sensor mounted on a watch strap, designed to provide feedback on stress levels. The watch indicates stress levels using a color chart on the device itself, and can also communicate data to smartphones, and PCs from where it can be transferred over the internet to medical professionals for further analysis. Stresswatch is a prototype under development.
