With a Little Help from My Friends

25 May 2011
With a Little Help from My Friends is a Facebook app that rewards a user for compliance to a goal by displaying their friends on the "safe" side of the homepage. When a user slacks off, their friends move to the "lost" side of the homepage and eventually fade away. Friends can give a "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" to progress. Ratings have the same effects as positive and negative progress. If friends disapprove of progress, their faces may disappear from the page of the guilty party.
